What are the criteria to become a commuter with ParcelChain ?
To become a commuter with ParcelChain, you need to be of legal age, possess a valid driver’s license and car insurance if you have a car, and have a clean criminal record. There are no specific vehicle requirements; however, you must have a smartphone to operate the ParcelChain app. Our platform is designed to match your schedule with shipments that fit your usual travel routes, so you will need to turn on Location with the app.
How is commuter compensation calculated, and when and how do I get paid ?
At ParcelChain, we calculate compensation based on the distance traveled and the size/weight of the package(s) you’re transporting. After the successful completion of a delivery, payments are processed directly to your ParcelChain Wallet within seconds. There are no hidden fees subtracted from your earnings.
Do I have to pay any fees to become a commuter or use the ParcelChain application ?
There are no fees to become a commuter or to use the ParcelChain application. We want to make it as easy as possible for commuters to join our platform and start delivering parcels. Whether you’re participating in the beta phase or joining us later, ParcelChain remains free to use for all commuters.
How does ParcelChain ensure the safety of its commuters, and what happens if there is an issue during delivery ?
ParcelChain is committed to ensuring the safety of its commuters. We verify the identity of all commuters on our platform to maintain a trusted community. Before each delivery, commuters receive all the necessary details for full transparency. Additionally, all transactions are securely recorded to ensure traceability. If any issues arise during the delivery process, commuters can report them directly through the app, and our support team will be available to assist. We offer support five days a week, from 9am to 6pm, to provide timely help when needed.
Can I choose the parcels I wish to deliver and set my own schedules ?
Absolutely, ParcelChain offers flexibility. You’re free to choose which shipment you deliver and when you do so. Our app provides details about each delivery, including package size, pickup and drop-off locations, and compensation, so you can make informed decisions that best fit your schedule.
If I move parcels and I get paid, what about taxes? Should I declare those earnings ?
Yes, all earnings made through ParcelChain are subject to local tax regulations and it is the responsibility of the commuter to comply with their local tax laws. We encourage all our commuters to consult a tax professional for guidance.
